Fiona White has been a county councillor since 2005 and is currently the divisional member for Guildford West. She sits on the Children's, Families, Lifelong Learning and Culture Select Committee. In the past, Fiona has also served as a member of the Adults Social Care Select Committee and the former Health Committee. She has a keen interest in all wellbeing issues. Fiona is particular keen to make sure that all children have a good start in life whatever their background. 

She was first elected as a borough and parish councillor in 1991 and in 2023 was elected to represent Ash Wharf ward on Guildford Borough Council, where she chairs the Planning Committee.
