John Robini was elected county councillor for Haslemere in the 2021 elections. He sits on the Corporate Parenting Board.

John was also re-elected to Waverley Borough Council in 2023, as ward member for Haslemere West.

He is the current Chairman of the Surrey Police & Crime Panel.
